Where?
Parish and main streets of the municipality
Organized by
Brotherhood of the Stmo. Cristo del Perdón
Villaharta commemorates its Holy Week by immersing itself in deep reflection. During these days, silence and respect envelop the streets, becoming the scene of very emotional processions that mark the spiritual pulse of the municipality.
The rhythm of the costaleros is guided by the compasses of the local Band of Bugles and Drums. It is the neighbors themselves who keep this solemn tradition alive, grouped around the Brotherhood of the Santísimo Cristo del Perdón and the Virgen de los Dolores.
Key Moments of Holy Week
Days of passion, emotional reunions, and a unique ending that thrills those who witness it.
Maundy Thursday
Marks the beginning of the parades. The Cristo del Perdón and the Virgen de los Dolores begin their joint journey, advancing wrapped by the respect of the crowd that accompanies them in their station of penance.
Good Friday
It is the most unique day. After leaving the church, the images take separate paths and process through different streets, creating an atmosphere of expectation and reflection in two points of the town simultaneously.
The Reunion
The climax comes with the Vía Crucis. The moment of greatest emotion explodes when the images meet face to face again. A breathtaking instant that cuts the breath of the attendees.
