This beautiful scene is the result of a tradition historically sustained by the women of the municipality, who dedicate their time and creativity to transform the streets into a true urban canvas that awakens general admiration.

A community effort that requires weeks of preparation, early mornings of work, and a deep love for traditions.
Preparations and Dyes
Weeks before, the neighbors are in charge of laboriously dyeing bags of sawdust in different shades, marking the design with chalk on the asphalt the day before the great celebration.
Early Morning Work
At dawn, the drawn pictures are filled with color while aromatic sedges and the best flowerpots are placed to adorn the sides of the processional route.
Altars and Balconies
The decoration is completed with wonderful altars dressed with lace tablecloths and fresh flowers, while the balconies show off their best shawls to receive the procession.
While the work does not stop, human warmth is felt with shared breakfasts based on coffee and typical sweets. It should be noted as a praiseworthy fact that more and more men of the town are joining this collective effort.
